Jagged Little Pill New Orleans Theatre reviews
I Swallowed the Pill
All I knew when I bought the tickets is that I was a huge fan of the album and know almost all the songs I wanted to be taken back to 1995. This was for a date night and my boyfriend and I wanted to go in with no expectations.
I am attempting to give a review without giving anything away. Here we go...
It is a family and teens. In a house and school. A revelation and an event. All come together to the music of Jagged Little Pill. Some music and lyrics have been changed to match the story. I found myself singing along and hearing the songs for the first time.
Come to see Jagged Little Pill not knowing what it's about, get on the roller coaster ride, and enjoy getting to the end.
Swallow it whole!
late start of show
We go to the National Theater a lot. The show began about 35 minutes late because of technical difficulties. I understand these things happen but they did not make announcements for at least 20 minutes on what was happening. They also were making threats if you leave for ladies or mens room and show starts you can’t get back in. Because of this at intermission it had to go longer than usual because everything had run late. We had to leave a little early because of our Golden at home longer than we planned.
Was disappointing. Show itself was wonderful though. I give 5 stars for show itself but 2 to the theater. Thanks.
